This is yet another reason to forget the whole DST thing and just keep the clocks the same all year round.

mornings (thank gosh!) have been OK… It’s the evenings that are the problem. The cats sense that it’s 9:00 PM simply because the sky is darker. So for about 3 hours every evening, I’ve got two fat furballs running after me… tripping me… anytime I walk toward the kitchen. Ugh, cats.

This time change thing is for the birds. I hate it. Southern states don’t really need it. My oldest’s clock syncs with the Naval Observatory ( which is in Colorado??? Not much navel observing there, unless it’s your belly button ) – but it does sync with the Navel Observatory clock so her clock is the most accurate in the house. Why don’t they put this in every clock as well as a weather alert radio?

It’s so weird when we agree, but yeah, standard time would be freaking sweet. I usually go by “Verizon Standard Time” on my cell.

Oh no! Sometimes cats can be so annoying. Luckily mine slept in this morning, for the most part. I think I woke up once because one was sniffing my face, but then she laid down and went back to sleep.

Thankfully my dog sleeps until I get out of bed. And then sometimes she looks at me as if I’m crazy for doing something so crazy as getting out of bed.
