I turned back my car clock, my alarm clock, my hall clock and my microwave clock. Verizon took care of my cell phone for me, and my Mac somehow figured out the time change. So can someone please tell me how to reset my g*dd@mn mother-f$ck!ng cat’s internal clock? Becasue that extra hour of sleep the misguided praise? And would have been really handy before my swim meet on Sunday? Was spent listening to her meow for breakfast for an hour. And an additional hour was lost as she did the same thing this morning. Anticipating about two weeks of this, while I participate in my semi-anual cursing of the time change.

OH! G*D@MNIT do I hear you on this. We have two. The older is on Howl Patrol. The younger is in charge of knocking books off the shelves and hanging from the only picture I still have on our bedroom walls (she has knocked all the others off).
Today I enraged them by getting up to go to the bathroom and then . . . GOING BACK TO BED. I never do this. Usually once I’m up, I’m up. They went into full-force breakfast demand attack. Needless to say, I got up within minutes.

Oh, I know!!! Argo’s internal clock is unwavering. And I’m pretty sure we’re just going to have to get up an hour early until Spring.

Thankfully my dog sleeps until I get out of bed. And then sometimes she looks at me as if I’m crazy for doing something so crazy as getting out of bed.

Oh no! Sometimes cats can be so annoying. Luckily mine slept in this morning, for the most part. I think I woke up once because one was sniffing my face, but then she laid down and went back to sleep.

You are doing NaBlo again? Color me impressed. I didn’t even kid myself and pretend I was going to do it this year.
Yup, but it’s short and/or sweet.

This time change thing is for the birds. I hate it. Southern states don’t really need it. My oldest’s clock syncs with the Naval Observatory ( which is in Colorado??? Not much navel observing there, unless it’s your belly button ) – but it does sync with the Navel Observatory clock so her clock is the most accurate in the house. Why don’t they put this in every clock as well as a weather alert radio?
It’s so weird when we agree, but yeah, standard time would be freaking sweet. I usually go by “Verizon Standard Time” on my cell.

mornings (thank gosh!) have been OK… It’s the evenings that are the problem. The cats sense that it’s 9:00 PM simply because the sky is darker. So for about 3 hours every evening, I’ve got two fat furballs running after me… tripping me… anytime I walk toward the kitchen. Ugh, cats.

Yeah, good on you with the NaBlo. I thought about it for four seconds before I realized it was not only an impossibility but also undesirable. For me.
But yay, month of Tannenbaum!
I’m not officially signed up, so if I don’t make it for some reason, it’s all good.

Yay, another NaBlo participant! We can drive ourselves crazy together!
This is yet another reason to forget the whole DST thing and just keep the clocks the same all year round.

I recommend a soundproof box. Either for you or the cat.

After you find someone to teach the cat, can you send them my way?
