As those of us who watched the debates last night now know, sometimes the most common people can become instant media celebrities just by making their voices heard. I’m looking at you, “Joe the Plumber.” One other thing you’re going to have to live with is the knowledge that you are no “Julio the Plumber”, whose question to Obama would be something more along the lines of “in these troubled times and failing economy, why am I still so hot?”
In that spirit, and because I just noticed that WordPress added an easy-peasy poll feature today, I’m going to try out this new feature to get an idea of what you, the reader, thinks.
Thanks for participating. That was so much easier than a podcast.

Damn, I forgot to go back to listen to your podcast, putting it on my to do list right now.
Well you just let me know when you do.

So if the pipes leak or clog in the new place, you don’t get to visit with Julio, do you? Sigh.
Maybe I can get the landcorporation to make a deal with him.

I was sure it was going to be a political poll.
I could ask you a political question if you want.

Julio the Plumber could provide important political insight, Noelle. You better get him over to your place ASAP to discuss!
It’s true. I need to know how things look from the hotness perspective.

You should probably take a hammer to your plumbing system just so Julio can come back.
I’ll just go back to the cottage and pretend I’m still living there.

I love that you used the polling feature! I noticed it yesterday, but couldn’t figure out a way to work it in. Well played, madam. Per usual.
I’ve just got to be on the cutting edge!

Oooooo! Polls! Maybe I’ll have to try this!
It was much fun.

Gotta love democracy.
It’s not perfect, but it’s the best system we’ve got.

Oh, I see you watched American Idol last night then?
Knot
Uh, no. I’m keeping up my perfect record of not watching that show.

Did you hear that Joe the Plumber isn’t even a licensed plumber? And that he owes a bunch in back taxes? Joe the Plumber says, “Gee, thanks, McCain.”
Also, if you missed it live, then tomorrow you must find the SNL spoof of the debate (from tonight’s special). Hilarious.
I was actually just watching that. And I’d say “poor Joe the plumber,” but he’s not all that bright.

Yes, poor Joe the Plumber. He’s having his fifteen minues of fame now. And lots of attention from the municipal licensing board and the IRS! Go Joe!
True that.

Cool. Because polls are easier. I promise the next podcast will come when I think of something to say.

I liked your poll on polls. I will have to try that when I need to make my next decision.
I just hope I don’t start using it for EVERY decision.

I’m waiting for the swimsuit competition to make my decision.
