Just Post A Link

I forgot, before I leave you for the weekend, I want to share my favorite links this week. The first is Inappropriate Children’s Books from Cracked. Hi-larious.

The other is a history of recent wars as told by the food of those countries. I almost didn’t want to link to this because I find it a little disturbing to see the Twin Towers as hamburgers, but the entire thing is too impressive not to share. Again, I can’t embed the video (does anyone know how to do this on wordpress for non-youtube videos?) so here’s the link.

That’s only funny because you don’t have kids. Or balls.

Also, here’s info on wordpress embedding capabilities:

  3. They’ve got me worried. I better wait to read the most offensive ones until I get home. Funny stuff, though.

  4. nothing wrong with inappropriate stuff.

  5. I love them!

  6. That made me snort with laughter. Now people are looking at me funny.

  7. Thanks! I needed a good laugh.

  8. If you click view > source in your web browser (or on a PC , just right click on the page and select “view page source”) – you can view the actual HTML file of the page. From there, you can “borrow” the code snippet that holds the actual media (similar to what you tube gives you). You basically cut then paste everything including and in between the tags.

Doesn’t matter which blog management system you use (Movable type, wordpress, blogger etc.) they all understand the same language :)

  9. ah figures… your comments are not set up to read HTML and nothing is visible! (although you might be able to see the code by viewing my previous comment from your wordpress backend).

  10. I wish I could have these at my job!

  11. Kir: why you writing on Noelle’s backend?

The links were funny. The Food Fight was awesome.

Too bad real war isn’t just used with food. I could get behind that kind of fighting. (Does that make me a “foodie”?)

  12. Okay, those are fab. Love Hop on Pop, because I have to giggle reading all the Dr Seuss books to kids. Oh dear!

  13. Yes there is a way to add UTUPE to a non wordpress site.I did it on my site,I just can not remember how I did it.Guess it the CRS (can’t remember stuff)
