Hiya.
My iBook broke last night. Puppy won’t turn on for a lick. So so you know what I was forced to do (after going to the movies and watching an episode of “Heroes” on DVD and talking to friends on the phone?) I was forced to read a book. The horror!
Just kidding. I finished Anne Tyler’s “Digging to America” last night, and it was quite good. I recommend it to many.
Oh, but the point here is that I’m without internet at home at the moment, so I’m abbreviating my post since Monday is Super! Busy! Day! at work. What I would like to say in short, and I was going to say it in long, dovetails with last Monday’s ode to the commenters.
This one’s for you, lurkers! For those of you that come and read and don’t discuss, for those of you who remind me of shy me in school (was there ever anything worse that being graded on participation?) for those of you who just came here to find out about funny kickball team names, and for those of you who are friends in real life and have that funny habit of commenting in real life, thanks for stopping by! I’d give you a personal shout-out as well, but I can’t because… you’re lurking.
Oh, and PS – I got a chance to do some retail shopping yesterday (a horrible idea when you’re on crutches two weeks before Christmas!) but the bottom line is that I’m one step closer to getting the prizes to the lucky prize winners. Bear with me, folks.
