Hi everyone, SisterAlyson here. Noelle asked me to hack into her blog b/c she broke her ankle playing kickball last night. She was in the hospital last night and will probably have to stay over again tonight b/c she’s getting surgery later today so they can put a pin in her ankle. The worst part is that she can’t drive for 6 weeks! Hopefully she’ll be able to blog soon.
I’ll keep you updated if I hear anything more…

Oh my god! I hope the surgery goes well, and be sure to insist on REALLY good painkillers. Seriously, get some demerol. Orthopedic surgery is, how do the doctors put it…uncomfortable.

Oh no! I hope the surgery goes well and that she gets well soon! (and that she has a good chauffeur lined up…)

Wow. She must be one competitive kick ball player! I hope her ankle heals well.

Yikes! Ouch. That’s going to put a serious crimp in this 30 activities plan, isn’t it? I admire the dedication to NaBlo, though, finding a pinch-blogger to take her place.
Heal quickly, Noelle!!

Hello commenters!
I was with Noelle last night when she attempted to turn her foot/ ankle/ shin in a very odd position that only circus freaks can master. Fortunetly, or unfortunetly, she isn’t that much of a Carnie and her tibia just didn’t react well.
But as we all know, Noelle is a huge trooper. Even during the knee-high sport sock removal there was not a single tear. But alas, once the morphine kicked in, our well spoken Noelle couldn’t recall the words “train station.”
The sadest part of the ordeal, we hadn’t even started the game yet, she was only warming up. Alas, we love her still.

She was only warming up? Oh, that cracks me up. But I am sorry you are hurt, Noelle! I am sure the surgery will go well! Get better!

I don’t know you, but I’m sorry to hear about your ankle. Kickball is such a vicious sport. I hope you’re up and kickin’ balls again real soon. It had to be said. Seriously, take care.

OMG, woman, I’m sorry to hear about your ankle. Be well, and on the bright side, at least you broke it in a truly awesome way.

As one present at said break, I can attest to the fact that Miss Noelle is a trooper and a half. I can also attest to the fact that the other team didn’t even really seem to give a shit that Noelle was laying on the geese poo covered ground covered in like 20 coats and one purple blanket, and KARMA kicked their arse when Valerio dislocated his shoulder at third base.(Noelle’s position)
We miss ya Noelle! Get unbroken real soon!

…. and talk about a trooper! Miss Noelle over here even mustered up the courage to fix her hair when she heard Valerio was in the SAME hospital, which meant his girlfriend Natasha was probably around… who I believe someday will realize what shes missing with said “broken one.”
We all miss you and hope for a speedy recovery!!!
ps- Team Underpants ROCKS!! (and the only reason we lost was because Noelle wasn’t there to kick ass along with the rest of us!)
Good thing you have a few months to heal before next season!!

Oh no! Best wishes for a speedy recovery. And remember to actually do all the exercises the physical therapist says you should do!

GEEZ! I turn head for a second (okay, 2 weeks) and this is what happens!
I hope you are okay! I’m going to keep reading to make sure…..
