It’s been a busy week, an emotional week. A cloyingly hot week, although it’s raining now, and that’s nice. I don’t have the wherewithal to go into an extended post today. I was in the city on Wednesday night and Thursday day, and I have a question. Does anyone know how New York City women keep their sweat glands at bay? There are so many of them, walking around in heels and tight dresses, turning the sidewalk into the catwalk. Meanwhile, I’m dripping, panting, and my flip flops are making my feet hurt. At least I got some Thai food out of it. And I got to see Sister Alyson and Lola the dog, so who could ask for anything more?

Answer: They apply antiperspirant all over their entire bodies.
I had to look up the spelling of antiperspirant. I thought it was hyphenated. I’m not ashamed to admit it.

I think weird aaron might be right, or it’s the fact that the more botox and collagen you get the less you sweat.

I can’t answer that any more than I can answer how so many of them have fabulous wardrobes when their rent costs three times my mortgage and most of my clothes are from Target.
Life’s mysteries, I tell you.

They’re all manufactured in Stepford? Either that or stiletto is right–it’s the botox.

Bossy doesn’t sweat in NYC because she’s too busy being jealous.
