I started writing a long post about the nature of driving in New Jersey based on observations I made while driving my parents to Newark Airport last night. But what can I say, it just wasn’t interesting. I bored myself while proofreading it. So let me sum up: If you are driving in New Jersey and you don’t know where you’re going, you shouldn’t be going there.
Thankfully, after seeing this video on YouTube, I knew I would have something to share today. If you have 9 minutes and 28 seconds to spare and you love movies, especially in clip form, and if you are OCD enough to love countdowns for the sake of countdowns, please enjoy this parody of the AFI top 100:
If you just skipped over that video not content to watch something just because I recommended it, you should go back and do it. Somebody with loads of time found lines with numbers in 100 different films and mashed them together. It’s brilliant, features tons of my favorite films, and boggles the mind to think about how (and why) it was done. The end “please don’t sue” tag is pretty cute, as well. Either way, the video is more enjoyable than the New Jersey Turnpike.
