The geniuses behind the Groundhog in Wappingers Falls mix coffee and Harleys (get it? Coffee grounds… Hogs…) Birmingham took me here when we were first dating and despite the fact that I was a Manhattan snob through and through, this place got me thinking that there might just be sustainable life beyond the borders of my island. Here I am, three years later going on and on about this place as if it were my own. Take that Manhattan!
