On Saturday, I had to get some routine blood work done. By Sunday, the area of my inner left elbow had become completely bruised and spotted with track marks. A co-worker and I speculated on how it happened, and she asked me if I bruise easily. I was about to give her an affirmative, but then I realized, “the thing is that I bump into a lot more stuff than normal people.”

In an unrelated note, I made a fire in my fireplace last night all by myself. Miraculously, no one got hurt, and the cottage is still standing this morning.
